Purchase a Research Grade Telescope page 10 of 14 Most Research Grade Telescopes are used while connected to a computer, and the astronomer sees the object being studied as an image on his computer's monitor. This makes the above TV-60 Finder Scope useless unless the telescope is also to be used manually. For the teaching models, manual operation is a must.  To this end, my telescopes are not only equipped with the above finder scope, but also with a set of TeleView Eyepieces and Barlow lenses that cover the bottom, middle, and top focal length of all four telescope ranges. You can order your telescope without the above Finder Scope or without both the Finder Scope and the Eyepiece Set. By default all telescopes come with both.
All in all, I produce six "Acubright" 10" Teaching Telescope models, and fifteen "Acubright" 12" Comet Chaser Telescope models. These are broken down into tabular form according to their features on the next page.  Please note that all the McKerron-Newtonian types are guaranteed to have a Total System Wavefront Error of 1/8 Peak to Valley at 550 nm or less, while all the Standard-Newtonian types are gauranteed to have a Total System Wavefront Error of 1/12 Peak to Valley at 550 nm or less, - without the Adaptive Optics tip-tilt mirror.  The former is 2X better than "Diffraction Limited Optics" while the latter is 3X better than "Diffraction Limited Optics" as total systems. The tip-tilt mirror which comes with all my camera models, slightly increases the wavefront error while greatly improving the resolving power limitations due to atmospheric seeing.
Following that is a table showing the Canadian Prices for all of my telescopes.
