The British scholar William H. Prescott and I agree the Incas were likely Chinese missionary settlers from a sun worshipping sect similar to the sun worshipping missionary settlers that founded the Japanese Nation on the Islands of Japan. All the cultural affinities are there in quantities large enough to rule out coincidence.

Regarding the attempt to change or suppress Inca History: South America has always been a continent rife with rebellions of one kind or another. Peru is no exception. In more than one Peruvian rebellion the native rebels claimed they were restoring Inca glory. For instance, in 1780 one Jose Gabriel Condorcanqui adopted the name of an Inca Emperor, "Tupac Amaru" and led 60,000 Native Americans in a revolt. In 1996 there was another "Tupac" movement against the Peruvian government.
