Tele Vue 2" 4X Powermate Lens At the left is a 2" 4X Powermate Lens that will change the effective focal length of the 55mm Plossl eyepiece into that of a 13.5mm eyepiece, and the focal length of the 41mm Panoptic eyepiece into that of a 10.3mm eyepiece.   This fills all the table positions for our space-walk, covering the bottom, middle, and top of each of the telescope's 4 magnification ranges. Both the 2" 2X Big Barlow and the 2" 4X Powermate lenses are parfocal so there will be very little refocusing to do in our space-walk. Some refocusing will be required when switching to or from the 55mm Plossl or the 41mm Panoptic as they are only close to being parfocal.  Both of the Nagler eyepieces are completely parfocal.  The 4X Powermate lens is priced at $295.00 US.  Note the 4X Powermate Lens comes with its own 2" to 1.25" adaptor.
