2" Tele Vue 55 mm Plossl Eyepiece This eyepiece has the largest field area of any eyepiece on the market. Its "True Field Area" is 3X greater than that of its 1.25" cousin.   This 50° 55 mm lens has fully multicoated edge blackened elements with safety undercuts. to eliminate internal reflections and ghosting. It has 38 mm of built-in eye relief making it a very comfortable eyepiece to use when looking at large areas of the sky. Used with the 2X Big Barlow Lens it provides for the 27mm eyepice for our space-walk.  With the 4X Powermate it also provides for the 13.5mm eyepiece. It is priced at $228.00 US.
