1.25" Tele Vue Nagler Type 6 Replacements Both the 7mm Nagler Type 6 and the 5mm Nagler Type 6 eyepieces are pictured at the left.  The 7mm eypiece is in the middle while the 5mm eyepiece is the one on the left of the picture.  Like the originals they replace, they have 7 elements arranged in 4 groups, posses an 82° Apparent Field of View and are fully parfocal with a great many of Tele Vue Nagler, Plossl, Panoptic, and Radian eyepieces.  They have a superior multicoating on their internal elements than the multicoatings used in the originals, - giving them even better contrast.  Their Eye Relief has also been increased to 12mm.

Because of their better performance, I have used the Nagler Type 6 replacements in the set of lenses to be used for our sky-walk.  On the next page I have placed all the selected eyepieces and Barlow lenses into their appropriate locations in the table of required focal lengths for a complete sky-walk.
