1.25" Tele Vue 7 mm Nagler Eyepiece Pictured at the left is a 7 element - 4 group 7mm Nagler eyepiece with an 82° apparent Field of View and 10mm of built-in eye relief.  Like all of Tele Vue's lenses it features fully multicoated edge blackened internal elements to reduce internal reflections and ghosting.  This greatly enhances the contrast of the eyepiece. This 7mm Nagler eyepiece is used with the 2X Big Barlow lens to provide for the 3.5 mm eyepiece required for our space-walk. This Nagler eyepiece is fully parfocal with a great number of Tele Vue eyepices of the Nagler, Plossl, Panoptic, and Radian series. It is priced at $190.00 US.

If this original Nagler eyepiece is no longer available, - it can be replaced by the 7mm Nagler Type 6 eyepiece that has the same 82° Apparent Field of View but with a slightly improved Eye Relief of 12mm.  The type 6 Nagler replacement has improved contrast over the original due to the exotic materials used in its construction.  It is priced at $280.00 US.
