I would wear a fur lined parka while visiting the Arctic in the winter time. I would wear Bermuda shorts when visiting the West Indies. Then again at home I wear jeans. Were I to die in any of these three places in such a way that my body was well preserved, future Archeologists might well assume I was a native Northerner or a Tropical Islander. They would correctly diferentiate between Northern culture and Island culture; but would they recognize that I had been a temporary member of both? Perhaps the Clovis people who came to the Americas had cultural ties to the Solutrean people of Southern France, and to all the other peoples in between who used different lithic technologies.

One thing is clear, on both sides of the land bridge, the megafauna began to disapear after the arrival of these stone age hunters.
