Mirror Cells
At the left is a 9 point Mirror Cell designed by the "PLOP" software developed by Professor David Lewis of the University of Toronto and built by Steve Houlihan of California. Steve Houlihan is not only an Astronomer, but also an excellent photographer, - familiar with advanced lighting and macrophotographic techniques as evidenced by the quality of the photographs at his website  Of the many Mirror Cells I have seen recently, this one is among the very best. It would not suit any of my telescopes, as it has been optimized for a Dobsonian Mount.  The choice of aluminum over wood and the precision machining of the cell's components speaks volumes about the quality of Steve Houlihan's workmanship.
