The Devil Is Dead
On the right is a map of Lac LaLoche. It differs from most such maps because where the lake bends towards the left, most maps show an isthmus extending Northeastwards into the lake from the West side.

That isthmus is not accurate. The Eastern part of it is actually separated from the land surrounding the lake, making it an island. I know this because I worked on an archeological dig on that island. Thus I have altered the map accordingly.

Old Albert, a native elder in the Native Community of LaLoche told me the story of a native blacksmith who lived alone on that island for many years. He was said to possess strange powers. The people in the village of LaLoche could hear him play his fiddle in the evenings from a distance of seven miles.
