Glen-4.htm Click to Enlarge Kevin took this shot of Toronto's CN Tower from a ferry boat approaching Hanlan's Point on Center Island.
At 1,815 ft. / 553 m. The CN Tower is the world's tallest free standing structure. In the interest of truth, and for those who find an interest in Trivial Pursuit: The CN here is for the CNR (Canadian National Railway). If there is such a thing as the CNN Tower, it's not here in Toronto.
Kevin used his Pentax Super Programmable camera in its arperture preffered mode with his Pentax 28-80mm. zoom telephoto lens. While it is advisable to overexpose shots with lots of sky by one or two f: stops, Kevin refrained from overriding the automatic exposure due to the strong late afternoon side-light. He also enhanced this shot by using a polarizing filter to deepen the sky. This exposure was made on Kodacolor Gold 400 ASA film.
