Details of "Vintage Car" by Glen A. McKerron
This photograph "Display of Vintage Car" was taken at the Cumberland Terrace at Bay & Cumberland a few years ago. For this shot I used my Pentax Super Programmable camera in its metered manual mode overexposing the reccomended exposure by two f: stops to
compensate for the backlight from the windows behind the car. I used the Pentax's standard 50mm. f:1.4 lens and controlled the catchlights on the car's hood with a light polarizing filter. Here I used Fujicolor 1600 ASA film,- which is an available
light photographer's dream. Though it is a bit grainy, it is a good all around film with plenty of speed for the most challenging shots. The grain of this film is normal for photographs of only a decade earlier.
