Eyepieces
It is likely the Apparent Field of View is not so important to you when you are seeking High Power Magnification. Thus you could use a 5 mm Lanthanum LV eyepiece with a Barlow Lens to get your maximum magnification.  You will lose half your field of view, giving you an apparent field of view between 22.5 and 25 degrees.
What you lose in apparent field of view is gained as extra contrast, giving you a sharper image. You will also get improved eye relief.  A good quality Barlow lens not only gives you two lenses for one, but also improved high power magnifications.
Most of the variations in the types of eyepieces available are due to different lens maker's designs for improving both the apparent field of view, and the eye relief of an eyepiece.  These designs are usually improvements on designs that initially corrected for flaws in the objective len's image such as spherical aberration, chromatic aberration, and coma.
