The first obsticle encountered will be the
Great Divide between the MacKenzie and the Churchill Watersheds. On
the MacKenzie side are the Alberta Tar Sands, and stretched out
along the Churchill side of the divide is nothing but impassable muskeg.
The second land bridge on their trek is the one
that crosses the divide North of Lac LaLoche, the Methy Portage. Place your
