Several of the horse's vertebrae had been smashed and there were butcher marks on some of its bones.  A chemical analysis of the Clovis spear points revealed faint traces of protein residue from a horse on the points. The horse was a member of the Equus Conversidens species.

At the right is the map of North America as it was 13,000 years ago. On it I have marked the locations of both the Portage La Loche, and the St. Mary Irrigation Reservoir. The locations are numbered "1" and "2" respectively. These finds clearly support the Cordilleran Theory very well.
