All the ships equipment is as used in the year 1813. There are only three modern elements in the ship: the stays, cordage, and the electronics. The stays are made of wire instead of hemp, while the cordage is made of nylon/polyester instead of hemp. The electronics consists of a radio to maintain communications with other shipping and shore, and the radar which is required by law for a ship of this size. The dual cylinder bilge pump as can be seen in the photograph is hand operated by two sailors.
