Introduction

The most efficient lie is at least 90% true.  The purpose behind most lies is to mislead, and this one has already harmed millions of people in many nations around the globe.  Why?   Simply because it has already cost many nations billions of dollars in calling for the wrong action.

 

Global Warming is not going to stop if and when men stop adding Greenhouse Gasses to the atmosphere.  It is not the Greenhouse Heating Effect that is warming up our globe.  The globe is being warmed up by the cyclic increase of undersea volcanic activity around both the Pacific Rim (Ring of Fire) and along the Mid Atlantic Ridge.  The out-gassing of greenhouse Gasses from our heating oceans is responsible for the correlation between the observed increase in greenhouse gasses in our atmosphere and our rising temperatures. ^{Appendix viii}

 

Al Gore is a politician who dabbles in science while I am a scientist who dabbles in politics; - climate change is a scientific matter with serious political ramifications upon which we both agree.

 

Al Gore says we can arrest climate change, I say climate change is inevitable.  We both say we need to do something about it.  His method won’t work because he does not understand the complete climate change mechanism.  However I applaud his desire to clean up our atmosphere for other reasons.  I do not want to breathe Toxic Chemicals any more than he does.  My solution is simply to relocate our agricultural endeavors to those regions that will become more lush as those regions open up to us through climate change.  His solution is to cut down on mankind’s Carbon Dioxide production in a mistaken attempt to arrest climate change.  His solution is both futile and very expensive, - already having placed an unnecessary financial burden on many nations including my own.

 

In his video presentation, Al gore tells us that he has a climate record going back a whole 1000 years.  Later he wows us with the fact that with Oxygen Isotope measurements taken from ice core samples in the Antarctic, he can extend our climate record back a full 650,000 years.  He leaves us there thinking he has the most complete climate record ever.  Well, long before Oxygen Isotope climate data was being recovered from polar ice, Oxygen Isotope climate data had already been obtained from the seabed.  The Oxygen Isotope climate record from the seabed goes much further back in time, a full 2.5 Million years to be exact.

 

Perhaps the most significant thing revealed by the seabed record is that 1.25 Million years ago, the relationship between Carbon Dioxide Concentrations and temperature changed.

 

Prior to 1.25 Million years ago CO₂ concentrations are seen to have regulated temperature changes while for the last 1.25 Million years, CO₂ concentrations have merely tracked temperature changes.

 

Since Al Gore’s entire climate record falls within CO₂’s temperature tracking period, Al Gore’s science advisors were easily mislead into thinking they had a handle on the whole relationship. 

They were either unaware of the seabed record, or too anxious to prove themselves with their own new method.  Unfortunately for all of us, the early ice core samples were too coarse to reveal anything more than a strong correlation between CO₂ concentrations and temperature.  When one went up so did the other.  Likewise, when one went down, so did the other.

 

Unable to determine which came first from the early ice core data, Al Gore and his science advisors decided that it was the temperature that tracked the changes in the CO₂ concentrations rather than the other way around. This became the basis upon which the “Greenhouse Gas Theory of Climate Change” was built.  Later, more refined Oxygen Isotope measurements were made from the same ice cores.  These measurements clearly showed that it was the CO₂ concentrations that tracked the temperature changes. However, the die was cast, and despite the revelation they had their relationship backwards, Al Gore and his environmental buddies continued to press their notion that increased CO₂ concentrations in our atmosphere cause a corresponding heat build up in the atmosphere, - adding that it must be mankind’s activities that were raising the CO₂ concentrations in our atmosphere, consequentially making us responsible for the rising temperatures.

 

Had Al Gore and his scientific buddies seen the more complete climate record from the seabed, they may have noted when the CO₂ concentrations in our atmosphere were far in excess of anything we have now, - the Greenhouse Gas Heating Effect failed to prevent global cooling, and that as our climate cooled down, large quantities of CO₂ moved out of our atmosphere into our oceans.

 

The seabed record also shows us when the undersea volcanoes first switched on and how the greenhouse gas concentrations served to limit extremely hot temperatures by exercising their heat capacitive properties to prolong the heating periods rather than allowing the average temperatures to climb further.

 

As I said before, the best lies are 90% true.  The globe is warming up, - but it is not because of the lie Al Gore calls “An Inconvenient Truth”.

 

It is the cyclic switching on and off of the undersea volcanoes that is the primary source of global warming and climate change.  We know they are switched on and off by changes in the Earth’s tilt.  I will show how these changes in tilt are due to changes in the eccentricity of the Earth’s orbit around the sun due to external gravitational forces rather than by any form of magnetic coupling between the Geomagnetic and Solarmagnetic fields. ^{appendix v}

 

By the time the Global Warming reaches its peak in another two or three thousand years, - there will be subtropical vegetation and fauna in the Arctic tundra.

 

 Al Gore’s insistence that Global Warming is man made, and can be arrested by cutting down on man made greenhouse gas emissions directs our attention away from another danger that attends natural climate change.  This danger has the same root cause as natural climate change, which is why scientists up until now have been at war with each other over whether the mass extinctions of the past were due to climate change or comet impacts. ^{appendix ii}

The same gravitational forces that are responsible for switching on and off the undersea volcanoes are also responsible for flinging comets and asteroids towards planet Earth.

 

In the following pages I will show you what an atomic isotope is.  How there are many different kinds of pure water molecules and how the isotopic composition owHHowthere are

 

 

 

 

 

of the different kinds of pure water vary in different climates.  Then I will show you how tiny creatures that live in the ocean incorporate the Oxygen Isotope that is prevalent during their lifetime into their shells leaving a perfect climate record in the seabed.

 

I will show you what an electronic capacitor is, and how it functions in Extremely Low Pass Filters as used in DC Power Supplies.  Then I will show you how the greenhouse gases function as a heat capacitor, - and how such heat capacitors function in Low Pass Thermal Filters.

 

Next I will show you the Critical Filter Capacity that determines the size at which a thermal capacitor switches between its High Pass and Low Pass filtering modes.  You will see how this affects the Global Heat Capacitor so that it sometimes tracks global temperatures, and sometimes regulates global temperatures depending on its size.

 

I will show you our climate history going back 2.5 Million years revealing how the greenhouse gases functioned as a global heat capacitor to both regulate and track global temperatures depending on its size.  Here you will see the greenhouse gases fight a losing battle to maintain global temperatures against the prevalent cooling trend at the beginning of our current ice age.

 

I will show how the switch that turns on and off the undersea volcanoes is controlled by changes in the Earth’s tilt.  You will also see how these undersea volcanoes heat up our oceans and pump huge amounts of both heat and greenhouse gases into our atmosphere.  Thus you will see how the Earth’s tilt controls the Global Heat Capacitor.

 

Then I will show you how there are two separate gravitational forces operating over vastly different time scales to produce those changes in the Earth’s tilt that not only change our long and short term climates but also fling dangerous impactors at us so that we face multiple dangers at the beginning of each true ice age as evidenced by the mass extinctions at or near the beginning of each ice age.

 

I will then compare Al Gore’s climate record with the climate record from the seabed and prove conclusively that Al Gore’s team added our current real temperatures to his climate record’s already erroneously inflated proxy temperatures.  This makes it appear that our current position in our current interglacial is higher than the highest previous interglacial peak heat, when in reality our current heat position in our current interglacial is well below the peak heat levels of all but one of the previous interglacials.  That single very tiny previous interglacial had a peak heat level that is about the same as our current heat level in our current interglacial.

 

I will go on to show you the weakness in the method of taking Isotope temperature measurements from ice cores, and the false assumptions that lead Al Gore’s team to their grossly elevated baseline temperature in their climate record.

 

Next I will show you how Al Gore and his team attempted to cast doubt on the improved 10 year Vostok ice core measurements showing it is temperature that causes changes in the CO₂ concentrations by introducing conflicting Oxygen Isotope measurements taken from Mountain Ice at 1 year intervals by Glaciologist, Lonnie Thompson.  Thompson’s 1 year interval data agrees with the original Vostok 100 year interval measurements, thereby casting doubt on the Vostok 10 year interval data. 

 

I will then show how these supposedly better 1 year samples are meaningless:  When a cloud settles on a mountainside and deposits water vapour from all its fractionated regions on the mountain side, it may freeze in a different area on the mountainside than the ice from the previous cloud. This completely and irrevocably mixes up the mountain ice’s already meaningless isotopic composition. Especially in the places where the two clouds’ areas overlap, - making the isotopic composition of mountain ice useless as a climate indicator. This completely invalidates Thompson’s temperature proxies used in his correlations with CO₂ -  invalidating all his correlation data.  Then I will show how the Gore Team deliberately doctored Lonnie Thompson’s already contrived mountain data to make it appear the changes in CO₂ concentrations caused the temperature changes.

 

I will also show you nature’s reverse process to the greenhouse gas heating effect where the heat produced by trapping the long wavelengths of light is concentrated into plasma discharges converting atmospheric heat into light that has no trouble crossing the greenhouse barrier back out into space.  Al Gore dismisses this effect as insignificant.  I will take you through the chemical and physical calculations to show how a single real 15 minute thunderstorm sent enough heat out into space in the form of visible and ultra violet light to keep a Canadian 1100 ft² home warm for over 33 years.

 

In fact, depending on the global rate of lightning strikes per second and the current global distribution and number of lightning rods, lightning strikes reduce global warming by from 20% to 65% of the amount of global warming taking place per second. This is due to lightning’s branching and spawning abilities, and includes inefficiencies in lightning’s cooling processes.  ^{Appendix vii}

 

I will go on to show you that there will be no global rise in sea levels due to the melting of the polar ice caps, and why.  All of the flooding that will arise from our warming climate change will come from the sky, as that is where the extra water vapor from our warming oceans is being stored.

 

I will also show you just how unprepared we are to deal with the danger from Comets, Asteroids, and Near Earth Objects.  Our Spaceguard program only has seven medium sized telescopes mapping the sky for these threats, - taking two whole weeks just to map the sky once.  Every second of early warning is worth a year in deflection planning.  Finally, I will show you how our modern engineering practice of only making things as good as we think they need to be; has lead to the production of telescopes that can see far enough to detect potential impactors, but not well enough to accurately map their orbits so that we can recognize the dangerous ones from the harmless ones.

 

When I am finished you will know a lot more about climate change, and why global warming cannot be arrested.  Understanding this, we may divert much of the money we are now wasting on a futile attempt to arrest global warming into better health care programs, and into the Spaceguard program to improve our ability to better detect and identify dangerous potential impactors sooner.
