My 10 inch Mirror with a 1/48 P-V Wavefront Error @ 550 nm

I had now arrived at a configuration I was happy with as a photographer.  Pure Astronomomers would also like it, as it gives the telescope full use of the entire range of exit diameters from 0.5 mm all the way up to 8 mm. The F:10 configuration, cannot use any exit diameter greater than 5.5 mm.
The F:6.75 configuration of a telescope with an 8" Clear Aperture will allow the Astronomer to enter the "Rich Field Magnification Range" using any eyepiece with a focal length of 27 mm or greater. In the F:10 configuration, the eyepiece must have a focal length of 41 mm or greater before the telescope can enter the Rich Field Magnification Range.
Quality
After Mr. Boldt sent my mirror to the University of British Columbia for testing and Aluminizing, we expected it would take a few weeks to return. Six weeks later we phoned to see if they had received the mirror etc.   We were told they were unable to proceed with the testing,- as my mirror's quality exceeded the quality of their "very fine reference."
